Dear Friends, Colleagues and Otter Enthusiasts!
I am very thankful to Victor Camp who provided us again and for the tenth time with an updated version of his bibliography on Lontra canadensis that contains meanwhile more than 900 references. Thank you so much for efforts Victor!
I hope that this compilation is useful in the daily work for many of you! This (Lontra canadensis), together with issues 40B (Lontra longicaudis), D (Enhydra lutris), shortly coming online, E (Lontra provocax) and F (African Otters), plus 39C (Lutra lutra), and 32A (Pteronura brasiliensis) means we now have seven extensive lists of references online! Please keep in mind that if you start to use the issues a proper reference should be given to show our appreciation to the amount of work that Victor (40 A, B and D, and 39C), Jan Reed-Smith and David Rowe-Rowe (40F), and Jessica Groenendijk and Nicole Duplaix (32A) have put into these.
If anybody feels like doing this for another species, I can assure publication as a special issue. Please contact me and Lesley before you start working to be sure that no duplication of work occurs.
