IUCN/SSC Otter Specialist Group Bulletin

Eithics and Disclosures

COPE logo. Member since 2013 JM09517 Any publication of scientific information as an article, report, review or another type of publication in a peer-reviewed journal is important for our development of knowledge about the species our group is dealing with. Therefore I see it as an important part of the IUCN OSG Bulletin that we all, i.e. the authors, the reviewers and myself as the editor, can agree upon standards of expected ethical behavior in our scientific life.

No form of scientific misconduct can be accepted and all manuscripts will undergo a plagiarism check using dedicated software (http://www.urkund.com/int/en/) thanks to the support of the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST).

The IUCN OSG Bulletin has signed up to the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), a charitable organization that provides a forum for scientific journal editors and publishers to discuss issues relating to the integrity of the work submitted to or published in their journals.
